Bridget King, Broker

Hi! I'm Bridget, leader of the Bridget King Team and proud member of The Maine Real Estate Network. I work with both buyers and sellers throughout Greater Portland. I'm a member of the National Association of Realtors©, and have worked in the industry full-time since 2002. My first year, I was named “Rookie of the Year” in the state of Maine! I’ve only improved on that success, selling over $10 million worth of homes in 2009. That made me 14th in Cumberland County for sales volume!  

My clients become like family to me. There’s absolutely nothing like helping people fulfill their dreams of home ownership and facilitating one of the biggest decisions of their lives! Particular strengths I bring to the table include multi-tasking, solid communication skills (both in listening and promptly providing information), and an inside track on the real estate industry. As a lifelong resident of the Greater Portland area, I know this area inside and out, both in terms of the real estate market and the subtle characteristics of our great neighborhoods.

 

Unlike most Realtors, I also have my finger on the pulse of the mortgage industry since my husband, Chris King, is a Mortgage Specialist at Cumberland County Mortgage. Having daily contact with a mortgage broker during these volatile times has proven to be invaluable! Although my clients are of course welcome to work with whatever mortgage broker they choose, Chris’s rates are so strong that he and I often have joint clients. I can’t count the number of times that we have foreseen speed bumps in the closing process and have been able to work to resolve them BEFORE they became an issue. Our partnership makes for the most seamless, efficient signing-to-closing process possible.

In my “free time” I enjoy playing golf, singing karaoke, and spending time with my husband and our cat Roxy in our South Portland home.
